Sometimes a mistake I see entrepreneurs make is you say, so what's your business? What do you do?

And they give you the most complicated answer I've ever heard in a million years. And you see people like,

okay, cool. They're not contemptuous of you. They don't understand. And they're contentious of that.

So if you're introducing yourself, you're explaining something, you're like, gosh, Vanessa,

I'm seeing this contempt everywhere.

You are over-complicating it.

You need to go for clarity over confusion.

People should be able to very quickly understand what you do

and who you are and what you want from them.
