Cadoe. In one of life's tremendous ironies, I am at the monumental offices and Mitch is at home.

Generally, if one of us is going to be in this building, it's the big man and not me.

But we're gearing up for Caps, Red Wings tonight. Should be fun. Busy day, though, with the commanders.

They couldn't get a trade down with John Allen, so they released them, and they got Bobby

Wagner back. Bobby just spoke to the media. Let's start with Bobby. He said, yo, it's cool when you land where they want

you. He didn't really pursue anything else. He also wasn't really allowed to pursue anything else

yet. This one makes a ton of sense. I'm not surprised, especially the way DQ kind of laughed and

joked about Bobby at the combo. Yeah, I mean, listen, the first thing Bobby Weidner said, you know, we have unfinished business.

I love hearing that.

And quite frankly, it doesn't sound like there was ever an opportunity that he was going to go elsewhere.

I know we opined at the combine.

I mean, Pete Carroll would make a run at him since they have history in Seattle. But, you know, he brought this up last year when he signed and said that he and DQ had kind

tried to link up over the years and it never ended up happening.

And finally, it did happen this year.

And clearly Bobby loved, you know, what happened in D.C.

This year it's hard to argue with anything that did.
