Summary

Jesus said there is a real place called heaven. Heaven is taught repeatedly throughout the Bible. Yes, we are blessed and victorious here on earth, but this life isn’t all there is. There’s a place where all sorrow, sickness, and death end, and we live in a city whose builder and maker is God. Have you lost sight of heaven while focusing on the things of earth? Does the thought of heaven cause you to rejoice? Are you building your life more on the temporary than the eternal?

1:51.0	in today and literally thousands, tens of thousands and potentially millions who are
1:58.0	viewing by television and those online, I'm talking to people, precious people who have
2:05.0	been strained and stretched to their limits emotionally. I'm talking to people who have been
2:11.0	hounded by physical pain and been harassed by financial difficulty and pressure on their
2:18.0	mind. I'm talking to people who have been humbled by domestic disharmony and trouble in
2:25.0	their families and in their marriages. And the deal is Satan wants to keep our attention
2:32.0	on our problems and off of our promises. He wants us to live shallow earth bound lives.
2:40.0	The devil wants us to smother the promise that Jesus made in John chapter 14 and get
2:47.0	you only to focus on the passing and not the permanent, only on the temporal and not the
