0:27.1	Welcome back to the Come Follow Me podcast. We are Scott and Maureen Proctor and we're
0:32.3	delighted to be back with you again this week. We have two personal comments to start with this
0:37.4	week. The first one is very personal. As I have spent hundreds of hours this year studying the
0:43.8	gospels, the apostles, and now the writings of Paul, I am humbled by the fact that I truly feel
0:50.8	closer to Jesus Christ and to my Heavenly Father than I did when I began. These studies are truly
0:56.4	blessing my life. They just become more and more delicious to me every week. I feel the Lord's
1:02.2	influence in my life and my thinking in my daily walk. This has just been so wonderful. I'm giving
1:08.8	you my testimony that this Come Follow Me curriculum is really working. Now the other personal comment,
1:16.2	as you may already be aware, we are entering a new era of church history beginning this next year
1:22.5	2020. This will mark the bicentennial 200 years since Joseph Smith's first vision.
1:30.3	But not only that, this year will also mark the beginning of 27 years of bicentennials,
1:36.4	the first visitation of the angel Moroni, the restoration of the priesthoods,
1:40.8	the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, the bicentennial of the organization of the Church of
1:45.2	Jesus Christ in 2030, the bicentennial of the martyrdom, the bicentennial of the arrival of the
1:50.4	pioneers in the great Salt Lake Valley. The list goes on and on. This will be an exciting and
1:55.2	wonderful era in the history of the Church. To begin our small part of the commemorations and
2:01.2	celebrations, I have put together a beautiful bicentennial calendar celebrating and focusing on
2:07.6	the first vision that will go on pre-sale, starting with today's podcast. There will be limited
2:13.9	quantities using some of my stunning photographs from the Sacred Grove and other church history sites,
2:20.0	each month will be a constant reminder of the grand significance of the first vision.
