We are Scott and Maureen Proctor, and we are grateful to be with you today.

We will be studying Isaiah, chapters 50 through 57.

In a lesson entitled, he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.

We are so excited to be able to talk about this material.

It's not often in the course of the curriculum of the church over the years that we've had

five different weeks focused on Isaiah.

That's exciting, and we could use five lifetimes, but we have five weeks and we're grateful

for each one of them.

And this is the fourth lesson of Isaiah, and we're excited to be with you today to discuss

these things.

And we have with us today Jeffrey M. Bradshaw, who is one of our favorite Latter-day

St. Scholars, whose writing is just prolific, and I'm just going to name three or four

of his books here, Free Mace and Re and the Origins of Latter-day St. Temple Ordinances,

which is just came out.

The first days and the last days, verse by verse commentary on the book of Moses, Enic,

and the Gathering of Zion, he really understands particularly the Pearl of Great Price and all

the Old Testament implications there and implications for today and for yesterday and for ancient

times.

It's really breathtaking to read his book.

He's also the vice-present of the interpreter foundation, which brings us so much good

material.
