We're going to preview the defensive free agents today, which I'm really looking forward to.

In my opinion, it's a more interesting group than the offensive players that we talked about earlier this week,

as evidenced by the fact that only one defensive player was franchised compared to like 17 offensive players.

The pool of players is pretty good.

Before we do that, though, we have some news to hit. I am thrilled to welcome two of my favorite people, Shil Kapadia, Naitice, two guys. I cannot wait to have this conversation with. Guys, how you doing? Doing well. I'm doing well. I'm very happy Shills here, and it's not, in a sense, where he's beat me over the head with going three and O in picks, hitting another one. We're talking about which charity we're donating to. We get to just talk about a little bit of free agency right here. So I'm very excited shields with us. The stakes are a little bit lower. Yeah, it doesn't feel right. Like we might have to do a three player parlay at the end or something. You know, I've got Carlton Davis going here. Yeah, there's

got to be some way we can make this into a gambling show, but we'll see where the show takes us.

All right. Let's start with the news of the day. The Colts have traded Carson Wentz, a move that

seemed inevitable. I think Carson Wentz moving on felt inevitable.

If you saw everything that Chris Ballard and Frank Greig were saying over the last

couple of months what the owner was saying pretty publicly, their lack of commitment to

him, even during their Combine press conferences where it's easy to say nothing of note,

it felt like his days were numbered.

The fact that they got two third round picks for him and have to eat $0 in dead money

shield, you know, we can get into this, but I felt like this was a move that if the Colts

were going to get rid of him, it was hard to do better than they did in this moment.

Yeah, it's always hard to analyze moves like this because if you zoom out,

you're saying, well, shoot, the last year was a disaster for the Colt. You gave up picks and now you're getting rid of the guy right away. And so, you know, you can certainly look at it that way and they still have to find a quarterback. So they're not in a great spot. But yeah, usually what I like to do and I think you framed it right is that you have to isolate the move at this point in time
