Summary

(00:00-24:15) – Query & Company opens on a Victory Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the dominating wins for the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Hoosiers. They touch on another spectacular performance for Jonathan Taylor against the Titans and Jake explains why Daniel Jones should be an MVP frontrunner over Jonathan Taylor. However, he does state that Taylor is the offensive player of the year, right now, in the NFL.

(24:15-38:49) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins Query & Company and recaps his busy weekend between IU football and basketball. Jake asks him for help with trying to identify what the weakness is with the football team and doesn’t believe the gap is that far between IU and Ohio State. Finally, Jake asks him for his takeaways from yesterday’s exhibition game against Baylor and Don admits that he believes that fans will fall in love with this team.

(38:49-44:24) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing what Jake realized late last night about Sunday’s Colts game that had him upset.

(44:24-1:12:43) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins the show to discuss another blowout victory for the Indianapolis Colts. Mike accesses Jake’s one critique about the Colts performance from yesterday, evaluates the likelihood that the team makes a trade before the deadline next week to address some defensive needs, and compares what we are seeing from Jonathan Taylor to other great running backs that have played for the franchise.

(1:12:43-1:22:32) – Jake received a text from a listener who attended the Sunday Night Football game in Pittsburgh last night expressing their frustration with Green Bay Packers fans taking over the stadium. Jake and Eddie highlight the reasons why home teams are having more issues filling their stadium with their own fans.

(1:22:32-1:28:49) – The second hour of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing what Peyton Manning said on Sunday NFL Countdown about the Indianapolis Colts.

(1:28:49-1:52:09) – Sports Illustrated’s Matt Veradme joins the show to provide his perspective on the Colts dominance this season. He calls them the best team in the NFL right now because of the way they have been dismantling their opponents this season. Matt also identifies a couple of teams that are legit contenders in the NFL, believes that Daniel Jones is the MVP for the Colts over Jonathan Taylor, and preview’s Sunday’s game for the Colts against the Steelers.

(1:52:09-2:04:46) – Following yesterday’s game, Jake put out his weekly tweet asking fans for their thoughts on the Colts after eight weeks. He reads off some of the replies and they discuss some of the injuries that occurred in the league yesterday.

(2:04:46-2:10:58) – Today’s show closes out with Jake and Eddie discussing game three of the World Series tonight between the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers! Plus, JMV joins the show to preview his show and discuss all the injuries that the Indiana Pacers are dealing with right now.
