Danish Prime Minister calls for a strong answer from EU leaders to Russia's hybrid attacks.

The Danish Prime Minister, Mata Fredrickson, told reporters that, quote,

from a European perspective, this is Denmark now.

Ms. Fredrickson has not been understood as a hawk in any fashion up to this point.

From a European perspective, she said, there's only

one country willing to threaten us, and that is Russia. And therefore, we need a very strong answer

back. Jeff, a very good evening to you. To summarize, there is reason to believe there is a hybrid

warfare operation underway by the Russian Federation

to use drones, to use warplanes, to use cyber, to use spy ships, all manner of disruption

of the normal business day in order to threaten the EU. What is fresh to me is that the EU is now

meeting about what is to be done with these Russian incursions of airspace and with the

closing down of the Copenhagen airport for more than a day with harassment by Russia on purpose.

Strikingly, they're not asking the U.S. what is to be done.

They're asking themselves.

Is that a positive, given the early nature of this meeting?
