Hey, it's Kelly, and at the end of every week, I like to share something true and useful,

something I stumbled over that gave me a burst of optimism, something you can share with

friends like an audio greeting card, something to help us all keep our eyes on what's working

and what could be.

This is Kelly Corgan Wonders.

This week's For The Good of the Order is one of my all-time favorites.

I almost just want to play it and let you hear it for yourself, but I guess I'll set it up.

Tammy, my producer and I went down to Spellman in Atlanta, and we dropped in on a class with

this incredible dean who also still teaches.

And then afterwards, we went over to like the student union or whatever, wherever you

get a frozen yogurt.

What do they call that these days?

And we just sort of blindsided these three young women and said, hey, we're going to

podcast and wonder if you talked to us about what colleges like for you, what your hopes

and dreams are for the future, how you feel about where society is right now, what's special

about this place where you are, and oh my god, they're just so bright and so full of personality

and charisma, and we couldn't stop asking them questions, and we only met to talk to them

for like five minutes and 30 minutes later, we were like, we got to let you go.

But god, it just felt so good to be around that much energy and that much like in it

to win it energy, so enjoy.

These are the young women of Spellman.
