Summary

FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his picks for the biggest games on the slate for Week 2. He begins by previewing the game he will be calling Big Noon Saturday on FOX – the Cy-Hawk game between Iowa and #16 Iowa State. He then breaks down the huge Big Ten-SEC showdown in Norman between #15 Michigan and #18 Oklahoma as Klatt projects what to expect from True Freshman QB Bryce Underwood against Brent Venables’ defense. Klatt also makes his pick in the first Border War game since 2011 between Kansas and Missouri then considers how much the back-and-forth between Mike Gundy and Dan Lanning during the week will affect the score when Oklahoma State travels to Oregon. He wraps up his picks with two close matchups as #11 Illinois faces a tricky trip to Duke and Baylor looks to bounce back from their loss last week with an matchup at #17 SMU. This is one of the most underrated quality rivalries in all of college football. Two new faces at quarterback for the Wolverines and the Sooners. One of them happens to be a true freshman who's going to be making his first start on the road. So I think it's going to be crucial for them, in particular with the crowd noise, to get a lead early. If Mazu is able to win this game, all of a sudden, with the rest of their schedule, it doesn't look quite like it did before. Mike Gundy poked to the bear.

Dan Landing service. If Mizzou is able to win this game, all of a sudden, with the rest of their schedule, it doesn't look quite like it did before.

Dan Lending certainly is going to use that as motivation for that team getting ready, and I don't think that they're going to let off the gas.

This show is brought to you by the graduate by Hilton. We thank them for their support as always. And here we go. Some week two picks and previews on deck for you. Listen, it wasn't the greatest week one. We killed it last year over 60% against the spread. But we had to see the games play out. So week one did not go as we expected. All right, we were one and four last week, but don't worry, I've got a little heat on the sheet this week. So we got it going. We're going to write the ship. Don't you worry. Hey, if you haven't subscribed to the YouTube channel, please go out there and do that. You can find Joel Clashio on YouTube. Please subscribe. You can leave a comment down below. for quarterbacks, teams, anything, the most improvement that you're going to see is from week one to week two.
