I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman for what should be an interesting discussion.

The college football playoff field is official.

Nobody was going to be happy regardless of what they came out with because of the way

things ended up.

Somebody deserving.

Well, somebody's going to be happy.

Somebody who's going to be happy.

If you're a Texas fan, you're

related right now. If you're a Florida state fan, you're devastated. Number one, Michigan will play

number four, Alabama, who ended George's 29 game winning streak on Saturday. They will be meeting

in the Rose Bowl, which I'm covering. So that's a heck of a

matchup. And number two, Washington, who I watched in person on Friday nights, quote unquote, upset

Oregon. They were, if you remember, it seems like a million years ago. They were the underdog

in that game. Well, they did. They were almost a double digit underdog. They were a nine and a half

point underdog, and they knew it.

They will meet number three, Texas, who kind of became, at the end of the day, the focal point of the whole debate and discussion once they beat Oklahoma State soundly. And of course, once Alabama won the SEC, Alabama being the team they beat in week two.

Florida State goes 13 and 0, but obviously did not look the same without Jordan Travis and down to their third string freshman quarterback against Louisville.

Basically had to run the Wildcat.

And, you know, we can talk about Boo Corrigan's comments, but basically they decided they're not one of four best teams anymore.

So your reaction, Bruce.

I want to say I'm conflicted because for a long time, I feel like I looked at this.
