On this show, I'll be talking with Central Vermonters of all kinds.

Artists, road commissioners, waitresses, parole officers,

teachers, parolees. It'll feature what I hope is some good conversation through my friend Lizzie Mandel, another great Vermont songwriter who produced her first record with Colin in 2012.

I had the huge honor of singing backup for Lizzie on a couple songs, which was my first foray into record production and recording.

It didn't much resemble what I've seen in movies or on TV.

Colin's studio is a small, cozy room in the back of his house in East Montpelier,

stuffed with instruments.

And Colin was a guy sitting at a computer in his socks drinking tea.
