So to start off, Collette and Mark, we're going to start and tell us all about your background and how both of you met and how you know this all came to be because I want to know every detail.

So we are actually a LinkedIn love story. That sounds super dramatic.

That's where the rest stories are though.

So back in the day, Mark and I worked together in a UK retailer called Boots.

I was in like brand and marketing and really kind of worked on the execution of brands and how we bring it to life for consumers and Mark was in the healthcare space doing buying.

So we both had like a real background in terms of retail and understanding beauty and customers and that was I think a really good foundation for us both.

And we kind of really understood the supply chains, you know, all the crazy stuff that sits behind the brand.

Not like the fun, marketing and founder bit like all that horrible stuff like warehousing, fulfillment, all the things that are not so sexy.

So we had a really good kind of understanding of that.

But my specific background was definitely in the consumer bit and just really driving into why they like what they like and how to talk to consumers.

And it felt like a lot of the bigger brands were quite not quite hitting the mark in terms of being real and authentic and talking to consumers as people.
