On May 30th, 1974, a phone in a police precinct in the small town of Ledyard, Connecticut,

rings off the hook.

An officer answers and asks who's calling, but the voice on the other end won't give a name.

Instead, they say that they have some information that the police might find interesting.

They said that in the backyard of an A-frame house on Shuvall Road, they'd find two bodies.

The officer perks up and starts asking more questions.

Whose bodies are they and who put them there?

But the caller isn't willing to give them that information.

No cars were in the driveway, no lights were on in the house, the grass was overgrown, and the house had signs of wear from the elements.
