Bitcoin so close to its nearly 74,000 lifetime record high.

Bitcoin range bound between 71,800 to 72,800 during the U.S. morning trade Wednesday.

After hitting a ceiling the day before, just shy of its $73,798 lifetime high hit in March.

The broader digital asset market is also muted, trading flat in the last 24 hours, according to the coin S-20, with ETH gaining about 3% and Seoul losing about 2%.

Wall Street analysts expect a further slowdown in spot trading volume for Coinbase in the third quarter,

partly triggered by a lack of catalysts for crypto and an uncertain regulatory environment heading into the presidential election.

The crypto exchange is scheduled to report earnings post-market Wednesday

and is expected to experience a revenue decline of about 13% in the third quarter,

according to estimates on fax set.

Earnings per share are forecasted to be 46 cents up from 14 cents in the second quarter.

Crypto training firm DWF Labs firing one of its partners following social media allegations

that one of its employees had spiked a woman's drink at a Hong Kong bar.

DWF saying in a news release it dismissed a partner from quote, management and operational

roles effective immediately and called the allegations deeply concerning.

Earlier Tuesday, ex-account Hanna Not Sari posted that on October 24th, a partner at

DWS invited her to a bar to discuss a job opportunity and was caught on camera

drugging her. The post did not name the person but said police had been contacted.
