Binance founder, Sizi is free and Swan Bitcoin is suing its former staff.

Binance founder Changpeng Xi Zia Chow is a free man.

Over the weekend, he posted to X saying, quote, good morning. The food tastes so good. What

a luxury to be able to have more than one piece of fruit per day. I know some of you may have a lot

of questions. I won't have all the answers. Let me chill for a bit, then figure out the next steps.

He goes on to say he'd like to focus on his ed tech startup Giggle Academy, invest in blockchain

and other technologies, and dedicate more time to charity.

Zhao was sentenced to four months in prison in April for failing to set up an adequate

know-your-customer program at Binance.

As part of his guilty plea, Zhao agreed to pay a $50 million fine and stepped down as CEO of the

crypto exchange. Swan Bitcoin has filed a lawsuit against a group of former employees and consultants

alleging they stole its lucrative Bitcoin mining business with the help of tether,

Swan Bitcoin's one-time ally and fundraising partner.

The lawsuit accuses six employees of looting Swan's trade secrets, including code,

hash rate optimization techniques and financial models to create a clone of Swan's

Bitcoin mining operation called Proton Management. The lawsuit alleges the Kudegras came on August 8th when

they and several other employees resigned near simultaneously to join Proton. Swan claimed that the

defendants did all of this with the go-ahead of Tether. And Mango Dow, Mango Labs and Blockworks

Foundation agreed to settle charges with the U.S. SEC on Friday.

The regulator alleged that the mango token was an unregistered security and that the entities offered unregistered broker services.
