The White House Council is trying to massively limit how many Brett Kavanaugh documents get turned over to the Senate and the

attorney general eggs on students as they chant lock her up. But first the big idea. Lordy there are tapes. A September 2016

recording by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen reveals that Donald Trump appeared deeply familiar with a deal that a playboy model made to sell the rights to her story of an alleged affair with him.

Cohen, who was under FBI investigation for bank fraud and several other crimes,

provided the tape to CNN which aired it last night.

The President's team then released a longer

transcript of the conversation confirming its authenticity. Here's CNN

host Chris Cuomo. We have one of the Michael Cohen tapes, the secret recording of President Trump back in 2016 made by Cohen in which he and then candidate Trump discuss arrangements surrounding a payment to former playmate Karen McDougal.

Here's a refresher on the backstory.

American media, whose chief executive is David Pecker,

had signed a $150,000 deal with McDougal in August of 2016 for her story.

But they never published it.

It's something in the business called Catch and Kill.

They paid her so that she couldn't tell her story elsewhere.
