Hey guys, coming up on today's sports spectrum show, Gary Gilmore from Coastal Carolina.

He's their head baseball coach, 2016 national champion, 2016 national coach of the year.

Currently 25th all-time in coaching wins, 1,335, 18 NCAA Division 1 regional appearances, including one this past season in 2003.

He's been coaching at Coastal Carolina since 1996.

Gary Gilmore is also battling cancer.

Gary Gilmore is also entering his final season as Coastal Carolina's head baseball coach.

And this was one of the more impactful conversations that I've had personally all year long on this show.

Gary Gilmore has great stories.

Just mind-blowing stories. but also his cancer battle and what

that's been like walking through this new season of life that he's had the last three years

since his diagnosis in 2020 and continuing to see baseball as a great platform to impact lives and ultimately to be the best
