up on the field in college football with number one LSU against number two Alabama

eight no Penn State eight no Minnesota but we start today because the

coaching carousel is well underway now.

Yes, so Florida State made a big move.

They fired Willie Taggart after less than two seasons on the job,

his buyout is somewhere of $18 million.

That doesn't even include his staff.

That is a huge chunk of change.

So I have a column up on the athletic about how I think their search will shape up.

A couple of things surprised me, Stu, when I started making a lot of calls on Sunday was how much, I don't say apathy but there were guys that I thought would be

legit candidates for this job who want no part of this job and some of it is because hey the school just

fired a guy within two years that's one that's kind of a jolt. The other part of it is what kind of leadership

situation do you have. It's a really weird leadership dynamic that Florida

State has right now. You don't know about how stable the long term, the president and the AD are,

the boosters are very involved and there's just a structure that gives people a lot of

pause on that.

And so I think when you add those things in,

it's going to be very interesting.

To me, some of the most viable options

they have right now and factoring in who the guys are, what their connections to Florida

in the state of Florida and recruiting there, as well as what their buyouts are.
