Summary

Another week, another increasingly jury-rigged episode of the Co-Main Event Podcast somehow finds its way into the light. This week, Ben and Chad had to resort to using the world’s oldest known computer and some free software in order to get this thing out but, damn it, here it is. Imagine Sir Nigel furiously turning a crank to keep the power on while the guys yelled into a series of increasingly large tubes and you can pretty much picture what this week’s recording session was like. Any irregularities in sound you may experience are obviously the result of this process. Same goes for the few new musical surprises headed your way during this episode. Cheesus willing, by next week Chad’s computer will be safely back in his possession and recording will resume as normal. As for now, you’ll have to accept this week’s discussions of Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche, Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida and Dana White’s sudden about face on the issue of testosterone replacement therapy with our compliments and apologies. Seriously, it’s a miracle this shit worked at all. Anyhoo, another round of MasterTweet Theatre, Tips for the Well-Rounded Fight Fan and Just Sayin’ Stuff are included, for good measure. Yeah, we're basically just shouting into a big empty oil drum and hoping somehow that our words find our way on to the internet.

It's like we're using Soviet technology from the 70s.

0:54.9

It's like, you remember that movie War Games from when we were kids?

0:58.2

I think it had Matthew Broderick in it, where the computer goes crazy and tries to start

1:02.4

thermonuclear war.

1:04.6

That's what the computer, the computer that we're using today looks like the computers

1:08.7

in that movie, like with the big green type

1:11.4

that is, was synonymous with the 80s, I guess.

circa the first back to the future, we would be right there on the cutting edge of technology.

1:26.9

As for today, it's a question mark as to what

1:30.0

will become of these recordings. Well, you know, I feel like if you and I make it out of here

1:35.5

with our lives, then I'll be a little bit surprised, to be honest with you. I assume somebody's

1:41.3

going to die here today. That could happen. Somebody could get electrocuted. It's like we've got a Jacob's ladder going in the back. Uh, anything could happen.

1:49.0

Anyway, uh, I'm Chad Dundas, one of your co-hosts from ESPN.com and the other voice you've been listening
