Well, hey, everybody, and welcome to episode 115 of the podcast.

My name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

Man, I've been excited about this episode for a while.

You may not know the name Sean C. Well if you live in

Athens, Georgia you certainly do but I promise you you're not going to

forget this story. Sean went through something that is surprisingly common for those of us in

leadership and particularly in ministry and it wasn't exactly a burnout but it was

kind of a crash. His church was growing like crazy but on the inside he was

crumbling and things were not going well at home and I've talked about some of the

personal challenges that have come my way in leadership and Sean is about as raw and

authentic and honest as you will ever hear. I am so grateful I've known Sean for over a decade. I'm so grateful for his friendship

but I am I am so thankful for how honest he is in this conversation and I had

heard him a couple months ago, well first of all I mean I was

tracking with Sean when all of this went down but I had heard him talk about it

publicly for the first time a few months ago on my friend Rich Birch's
