welcome to episode 203 of the podcast my name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today

Well every once in a while you know you get thrown a curveball and I had an other interview this one as

you'll figure out pretty quickly was done live at the orange conference so the end of

April every year actually next year it'll be end of April early May we do

couple of events back to back we do the rethink leadership event for senior

leaders senior pastors campus pastors we also do the orange conference. So there's over 8,500 people who attend in Atlanta. And I had an interview scheduled with another leader who was supposed to be there and then, you know, wires got crossed, didn't show up. Sam was going to be there and then you know wires got cross didn't show up

Sam was going to be on my podcast anyway we're texting like mad because I was

going to do this thing live some of you watch this and try to figure out who's going to replace this guy who couldn't make it or we

got our wires crossed. Anyway, Sam Collier came to the rescue and I've known Sam

for a while so this interview was filmed there.

Sam, thank you, I owe you for life for filling in.

And we actually ended up with an amazing interview.

Sam talked a lot about growing up without a lot of the

privileges that you would expect in America. He also talked about trying to figure out

how to build a platform in, well he's gotten a phenomenal platform, and also he's got a brand new book called Find Your Voice that we talk about.
