My name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

We also have an incredible guest. Some of you know him because he was on the podcast about a year ago.

His name is Jason Romano and he is a former producer at E-SPN.

He's now a speaker, author, writer, he's helping leaders on a number of different fronts but he's got a brand new book and he talks about his relationship with his dad and I often think it's the like emotional issues that sink leaders and he goes into places that frankly I haven't

seen a whole lot of people in Christian ministry and leadership go into where he just talks about growing up in an alcoholic home and talks about the impact that

had on him and how he really struggled through a lot of his adult life with that and with the relationship

with his dad.

It's a very, very honest account. with that and with the relationship with his dad.

and they actually have worked out a relationship in the midst of it.

So it's a powerful story.

We all have stuff in our past that impacts are present and we just want to make sure that that doesn't kind of sabotage our future, which often it does.
