I am so very excited about this week's guest.

John Orberg is somebody that has influenced my life for decades,

literally since the 90s, as a leader and also just as a Christ follower. I mean his writings and

ministry have been very influential and in the

last month I've had some time to hang out with him. My wife and I flew down and

got to spend a day with him and a handful of other people in Menlo Park, California

and then saw him again recently at another event and then got to interview him for this podcast.

And this is like, this is good soul food.

teaching pastor at Willow Creek and more recently over the last number of years

has done a phenomenal job really transforming Menlo Park Presbyterian Church into what it is today, Menlo Church,

and they're reaching lots of people in Silicon Valley,

become a multi-site church, and John is just a good soul and a really sharp mind and an even better heart and was really good

friends with Dallas Willard which is very intriguing to me and so I think you're really

going to benefit from this and I think your soul is going to be better as a
