Yeah, Nick, I figured today we're going to be talking about,

instead of doing an all-out Good Friday theme,

the theme of abandonment is mildly connected to something we did two weeks ago on C-Mask,

which is this.

The Miyagi complex in the West, which is well developed in this book, my second book,

it's rule number 21.

Beware the Miyagi complex.

I'll cue that up in a second.

But by way of introduction, I'd just say the Miyagi complex here in America is most aptly spread. It's promulgated and it's infiltrated our culture,

whereupon men do not look to Western fathers or even Western father surrogates. We look to the east for some strange reason.

We're going to talk about why.

We do so probably because it's taken such a foothold in Hollywood, in film.

And so having you, a film director, Nick, is a real treat today.
