| 0:00.0 | Guys, thanks so much. Welcome to closing bill. I'm Scott Wobner, live from Post 9 here at the New York Stock Exchange. |
| 0:05.0 | This maker break hour begins with a market on edge. Stocks under pressure, not quite as bad as they were, but nonetheless, red across the board. |
| 0:13.0 | There's the look with the last stretch of trading now beginning. We could have an expected employment report. |
| 0:19.0 | It gave the market a gut punch right from the beginning, along with that big jump in crude that Kelly and Brian were talking about. |
| 0:24.6 | Stock started careening pretty early. Look at that. There's crude. Up almost 13 percent. We are above $91 a barrel. |
| 0:31.6 | We're watching far and wide. The banks as well. They've not traded well. Restaurant names, you might expect gas prices are up. Restaurant stocks go down. That's just the way it works. | 1:21.6 | And we have a list here of the defense companies that were invited, including Lockheed Martin, Northup Grumman, |
| 1:28.6 | RTX, Boeing, Honeywell, and L3 Harris, all expected to be in the room for this meeting. |
| 1:34.5 | We don't have an official agenda here, but the White House says this meeting was scheduled weeks ago, |
| 1:39.4 | so that is before the war in Iran. |
| 1:41.7 | The president has voiced a number of concerns over the past couple of months |
| 1:45.9 | about the speed and volume of American defense production. He believes that defense CEOs are |
| 1:52.6 | paid too much and they don't produce enough and they don't produce it fast enough. So that is the |
| 1:57.3 | expected message to these defense CEOs, Scott, in this meeting today. |
| 2:02.1 | But if we can get any sense after the meeting breaks up of what has occurred, we will certainly |
| 2:07.8 | bring it to you. |
| 2:08.3 | The White House says that the United States certainly has enough munitions now to proceed with |
