Welcome to closing bell. I'm Mike Santoli in for Scott Wapner today. This make-a-break hour begins with stops wavering just a bit ahead of a consequential week of data and policy decisions, as we were just hearing, taking a breather now just below record highs. Here's your scorecard with 60 minutes left in regulation. The S&P 500, it's coming off five straight daily gains last week.

All of them were modest in scale.

It has slipped just a little bit this afternoon, but again, even here on the downside,

down about just 0.12%, really not too significant.

The Dow did get within sight of its all-time peak.

That was set back in December, got to within about a quarter percent.

It's also pulled back just slightly.

The NASDAQ remains the outperformer

is modestly in the green at the moment.

Meantime, treasury yields and the dollar index,
