And welcome to closing bell. I'm Mike Santoli, in for Scott Wapner. We are live from post nine at the New York Stock Exchange. This make-a-break hour begins with stocks under some stress as the leaders of the recent strong but narrowing rally reversed sharply and the broader market struggles to take up the slack. The S&P 500 has been down more than 1% much of the day.
