The major average is all but brushing off today's

CPI report, which was a touch hotter than expectations.

Yields did move modestly higher, stayed mostly steady too after a midday bond auction,

graded a C-minous by our own Rick Santella.

Nasdak outperforming is several of the momentum names within that index bounce back today

led of course by what else?

NVIDIA back above 900 bucks.

Oracle gets the best name in the S&P following its earnings report that stock hitting a new

high in the session today and 3M's the best in the Dow that after naming a new

CEO all of it takes us to our talk of the tape which is all about the rally

obviously is it running out of steam as some now suggest
