We'll get to the drama in Portland and look ahead to tonight's

Eastern Conference Finals matchup,

but we start in Phoenix where the clippers beat the

sun's 116 to 102 Paul George scored 41 including 30 in the second half and

Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris added 23 and 22 apiece and the clippers stay alive in the Western

conference finals and pull the series to 3-2 heading back to LA. David what to

you was the key factor in this clippers win? Well I, it's kind of obvious, right?

It was interesting to see how the broadcast made it seem that George wasn't, you know,

aggressive enough in the first half, and I think some of the more upset clippers fans have agreed with that assessment but it seemed to me anyway that he was just kind of picking and choosing his spots kind of gauging when to really take over the game and certainly that was a case in the second half. 15 of 20 from the floor,

8 of 8 from the free throw line, 41 points, 13 rebound, 6 assists, the total package,

rebounding actively, drawing fouls making plays knocking down big shots at just the right

moment so I think it's pretty clear that George's impact was felt immensely and he was the

one who saved the game for the clippers.

There's no doubt and you mentioned him saving the game. I was so impressed with the clippers overall because

we have seen them have their, I guess, mental wherewithal, their toughness, all these things questioned and in these

playoffs they have been everything but that, right? They've been resilient, they have been scrappy, they have had answers for everything.
