Oh boy, let's do it live on a football Friday edition of Cleveland Browns Daily, and we are blessed with royalty, the Hoff.

Oh, pure joy being in the season on the eve of the biggest opener in Browns history, at least in recent memory.

Let's go.

It's like the bachelor, the biggest finale in bachelor at history every year.

Every year.

Yeah, this is it.

It's the same thing in football.

Hoff, we were talking about this earlier in the week.

There is a WWE feel to this, and it's appropriate that you're going to the home of Rick Flair, I think, to be able to make sense of all of this.

And it was added to yesterday with Mary Kay Cabot, story in Cleveland.com, with some of the comments from Miles about his relationship with Baker, and all of that.

Baker elected a captain, by the way, in Carolinas, so that adds to it as well.

It has all of that stuff that I think from even if you're not involved, or you know, don't feel connected to either one of these, obviously everybody listening out there in the three of us certainly are.

But even if you're not, it adds so much intrigue to this, does it not?

Emotionally, this one feels like it checks every box.

Yeah.

They know what they're doing, right, with the schedule.

They knew the tea leaves were going to be red, where Baker was probably going to end up one of two places.

And if they had an opportunity to put the Browns against the Panthers in week one, they were going to do it, because this has all the intrigue of a heavyweight title bout, right?

Oh, yes.

The referendum, the great R word that the Z used at the beginning of the week with me when him and I were just shooting the breeze is so true, because it is a referendum on everything that's happened in the last nine months for almost both teams.
