Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Tuesday. This is Seattle now. Here in Washington,

nurses, teachers, and child care providers are among the many people who are required by law to report any suspected child abuse or neglect.

Members of the clergy are not.

Democratic State Senator Noel Frame has proposed a bill to change that.

If you're a federal employee considering President Donald Trump's proposed deferred resignation

program, Washington's Attorney General says you should reconsider. Last week, the Office of Personnel Management told

employees if they resigned by February 6th, they can keep pay and benefits through September.

Attorney General Nick Brown suggested yesterday that federal employees go to their unions if they're

curious. Two of the biggest unions, the American Federation of Government employees

and the National Federation of Federal Employees, have already warned their members against

taking the offer. It's dangerously cold outside to help people without housing. The King

County Regional Homelessness Authority has opened up overnight and daytime shelters.
