episode six. Here we go from the cleared hot studios in Montana. Yeah, I'm just kidding.

I don't have a studio. I'm sitting in my basement, which is pretty cool. I've never owned a basement before

Question number one is about training, specifically physical training and it reads, what is my philosophy on working out?

Well, my theory is that there is no downside to being a strong human being.

Having said that, I think it's important that you match the demands of your real life challenges, whether that's occupational or recreational,

I think most people fall into the category of general fitness and very few people truly fall into the category of specialized training.

So my theory is, if you're not a triathlete or a long distance runner or fill in the blank something that is highly specialized,

you should touch a lot of things throughout your training week or month or cycle. However, it might be you're much better served with a broad stimulus than a scalpel.

Personally, I think you should train for your worst or most challenging day. And what I mean by that is, even if you're just recreational and you're training to go hiking,

don't train for the bare bones minimums. Always set a standard that you want to feel comfortable meeting when everything that you think is going to go correctly goes in the opposite direction.

So therefore you're going to be prepared. And even if everything goes wrong, you're still going to be just fine.
