we were talking about a very important topic today. We are talking about toxins and clean

beauty, including both clean skincare and clean makeup now this is a topic

I have become increasingly interested in something that I've been researching

especially more in recent years because I wanted to make the switch over to

clean beauty and makeup especially as I was looking to first get pregnant

with Luca and throughout my pregnancy. And more recently, have really been diving quite deeply

into the research on the bioaccumulation of toxins, of heavy metals, and of compounds that are

in a lot of skin care and makeup that can actually act as

endocrine disruptors or hormone disruptors. So I've become really, really interested in this topic,

also because it turns out that our bodies actually store these toxins, heavy metals,

and different compounds in our fat cells. And it can

actually become something that blocks fat loss or can even be the cause of weight loss or

fat loss resistance in people. So I have been wanting to make the transition personally over to a

clean skincare and beauty or makeup line for a long time.

But every time that I tried, I would do so by using the skincare and makeup that I would find

in health food stores.

And it never really performed for me.

It didn't really seem like it was making that much of a difference.
