Finally did something that they hadn't done in 96 previous games when trailing in the eighth inning.

And that has come back and win a game the way that they did yesterday.

And, you know, I will say they've won five out of their last six, obviously, after sweeping Detroit.

And that Friday night was so

disappointing. And then you see drop pop-ups and drop fly balls and all sorts of follies out in the

field. But then again, you know, it is baseball. And as John used to tell Susan, you know, it's

unpredictable. And it really is. And, you know, the Yankees are a good team. They're going to be a really good team.

But I was thinking, as I said earlier this morning, when Jerry was doing the update, if you're Devin Williams, how do you feel after this weekend? Yeah, I mean, he is obviously turning his season around. I don't think he left the Yankees on bad terms, though. Obviously, the beginning of last year was really

nasty for him and he was bad and he was getting booed and he lost his job. But at the end of the

year, he was really good and it earned him a contract with the Mets. But we also know why the

Mets signed him because they knew the Mets knew that they were losing Edwin Diaz and they wanted

to jump on Devin Williams quick so they probably

overpaid to a certain extent

but they got him in here and

you know he's actually looked pretty good

yeah and hopefully this continues

because if this team is going to be back

of the mix everything needs to be working

at the same time like it wasn't working
