So Dr. Marcel, or Jess, let's just call him Jess, because he was gracious enough to let us do that.

You wrote this book, The Roswell Legacy.

What was your goal in mind here to set the story down or to vindicate a point of view or what?

Well, I wanted to establish my dad's credibility with his training and documentation and

just to make people know that he was not some guy who made up stories and he knew what he was

talking about. So basically, that's what I wanted to do, was just to establish his credibility, his training, his background,

and go from there.

Jess, some people try to dispute his credentials and his experience.

Now, how do you respond to things like that?

By showing him his record,

he was an intelligence officer with a 509th, which was a group

handpicked gentleman to drop the bomb on Japan. He went to Radar School. He went to intelligence

school. As a matter of fact, he was on the faculty of the Army Air Force Intelligence School.

So he knew what he was talking about. And his OER reports are excellent. So, you know, this destroys the skeptics who, if they don't like the message,

you try to kill a messenger.

Are there specific things that maybe you didn't know about him that you discovered

later in his life or after his passing?
