Kathleen Martin, I'd like to start with you here.

When did you first learn about your aunts and your uncle's close-en-counter experience?

I learned about their close-encounter experience on September 20th, 1961.

It was my mother, Janet Miller, that Betty called on that afternoon after they had had some sleep after they arrived home at 5 o'clock that morning.

So Betty awakened at probably about 3 o'clock in the afternoon,

and she called my mother, I would say about 4 o'clock that afternoon.

Okay, and at that point she had concerns over what had happened to her and her husband?

She just wanted to tell my mother.

I don't know if you would say it was concerns about what happened to them,

but she wanted somebody to talk to, to share her experience with,

and she felt that she could trust my mother because in 1957 my mother had seen a UFO.

Okay, can you tell us something about that experience?

Yes, it was on a Friday evening.
