1:22.0 | The number of people that are defaulting are going to link on car loans, credit cards, it's going way, way, way up. |
1:33.0 | If you look at people who don't have the highest credit scores, the latest data from the Federal Reserve is that 6 million people |
1:44.0 | are delinquent right now on their car loans of people who are at the lower end of the credit score spectrum. |
1:52.0 | They don't give a number here about how many people with higher credit scores are delinquent, but 6 million car borrowers right now delinquent. |
2:04.0 | That's not a good number. |
2:06.0 | And with credit cards, the delinquencies have been rising. |
2:11.0 | And they're up a meaningful amount, meaningful meaning that the numbers are climbing. |
2:20.0 | And there's a greater possibility that the banks that issue credit cards are going to be writing off more credit card debt is uncollectable. |
2:32.0 | And repossessing more cars for loans that aren't paid. |
