Hey, welcome back to Gun Talk. Tom Gresham here.

If you're new, let me just explain.

It's called Gun Talk because that's

what we do. It doesn't matter if we're talking about old guns or new guns or ammo or optics or all

the rest of the stuff or hunting or competition shooting. We'll talk about anything, but of course

you've got to talk about politics and the Second Amendment and gun rights. A big part of that

is the information that people either do or don't have or maybe

they're being misled.

And I think, honestly, one of the people who's been working on that so effectively through

the years is John Lott.

He's a researcher, a college professor, author of a number of books, more guns, less crime, the bias against guns,

but also, of course, now running the Crime Prevention Research Center.

John, I appreciate you spending some time here, and you've got this, I guess, most recent research

you've been doing or study, talk about comparing citizens, regular civilians,

versus the police in terms of stopping active shooters.
