Summary
This episode is a direct call-out to church leaders & church members everywhere... WE CANNOT let culture influence our teachings!
Christians should be the ones upholding the truth about the sanctity of life, as well as supporting those who are facing crisis pregnancies.
Christians are taught to live based on the belief that all humans are imperfect & have flaws and therefore will sin. So, despite what struggle a person might be facing or what decision led them there, our job is the same. We are to love & support others without judgment, in the most Christian-like way possible.
Both condemning those who are in need of help, or letting the ways of this world influence the original teachings our faith was founded on... will not solve the issue of abortion. It will make it worse.

| 0:00.0 | Hi, everyone. I'm Kristen Hawkins and welcome to this new edition of the explicitly pro-life |
| 0:04.8 | podcast. As you know, we're in a mini-season on winning pro-life tactics. And today I've asked |
| 0:11.3 | Carol Fouse, the executive director of Churches for Life, to come on and share with us about |
| 0:16.9 | her ministry and what is happening in our churches. As you all know, we talk a lot about the |
| 0:23.0 | church in the pro-life movement, how we have to get the church involved. I am a firm believer |
| 0:28.0 | if that the Christian church would rise up and say abortion is violence, it's wrong. We would |
| 0:36.3 | end abortion, but it hasn't happened yet. So let me introduce |
| 0:40.2 | Carol and then we're going to have her on and then we can kind of grill her as to what she's up to |
| 0:43.9 | and how they're having success and impact over there. So Carol has been a part of the staff at |
| 0:50.5 | Churches for Life for about nine years. Prior to joining Churches for Life, she served in public and private schools for over 20 years, |
| 0:58.9 | including 10 years as a middle school principal. |
| 1:02.2 | I remember my middle school principal. |
| 1:03.9 | I'm still afraid of them. |
| 1:05.2 | So I hope Carol is not that scary. |
| 1:08.3 | She has decades of experience, which I think all of this experience with administration, |
| 1:13.5 | education curriculum probably certainly prepared her for the role she is currently in at Churches |
| 1:18.8 | for Life where they have a ministry that trains and coaches life teams and develops workshop |
| 1:24.3 | materials. |
| 1:25.4 | So welcome, Carol. |
| 1:26.8 | Thanks for coming on today. |
| 1:38.4 | Thanks for having me. It's a real honor. Yes, the church, the church, the church. |
| 1:45.2 | That's the question I get asked the most is where's the church? |
