Well, as Jacob alluded to, my family and I just got back in town,

we spent the entire week at a dude ranch in Colorado,

way out in the wilds riding horses, pinning cattle,

and there were no screens.

Nor was there cell service or internet.

So we had a full week without looking one bit at screens

and just hanging out.

So I got to tell you, it was fascinating how calming it is

to jot just microdose stress all day long to your phones.

So I'm going to assume nothing of note or significance happened here in DC

or around the world this week.

I know for me, I had an isolated and wonderful time.

But as we were out there riding horses and such,

we were with several other families,

most of them professional athletes and their families.

And I get to tell you, when there's no screens,

what you end up doing is, you know, talking.
