Hello there I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast. This is also going to be my last post-game episode in the

Todd cast feed, not the last podcast, you guys are getting a lot of me forever

But I did want to take a moment to talk about what we have planned next of course as I said I'm not leaving

It's not a eulogy. You're going to see me across NBC News and like I said

the podcast is going to be coming to you a couple times a week. In fact, got a little formal

schedule announcement. Take a little break until October and then shift to a Monday,

Thursday podcast, broadcast schedule. We'll still have our deep dive interviews, reported

discussions, even our annual what if series on alternate history.

But before I hand over the Meet the Press Moderator desk to my great friend and colleague

Kristen Welker and to the team run by executive

producer David Gellis. I thought I'd spend a little time talking to my original

partner here at Meet the Press John Reese, which means yes we're going to tell

some more stories about meet the press.

Our tenure here, John took over his executive producer, meet the press from 2014,

just as I was getting here, as much as anyone he made the current version of the broadcast

what it is he helped execute my vision to make Meet the Press bigger than just

Sunday supporting the addition of a daily show leading heavily on Meet the Press

reports which he is still executive produces, and generally

being both the old school and new school type of partnership that we can have about TB

News, politics, and the future of media.

For those of you don't know, before he took the helmet meet the press,

John was also executive producer of the NBC nightly news.
