Hello and welcome to rock and roll politics, the podcast with me, Steve Richards. I hope you're all

0:13.4

having a great time over Christmas, getting ready for a new year, and what an epic it's going to be.

0:20.1

And in the meantime, as promised, a bonus for you.

0:24.2

This is the live rock and roll politics, the Christmas special at King's Place, which we all gathered

0:31.3

for shortly before Christmas. Now, we don't usually record these live shows. They, of course,

0:39.7

are stream live and that's it.

0:47.8

But because it was Christmas, great effort was, you know, speakers everywhere, mics all over the place.

0:57.2

We recorded it to get this one over to you. And for these Christmas specials, we kind of reflect on the year as a whole and dare to look ahead to 2024. We make our predictions both on the live stream and in the

1:04.8

hall. You'll get the sense of it as we go along. But there is one kind of thing I have to say

1:10.4

is that the mic that we

1:13.1

used to record was pretty hopeless of picking up the questions live in the hall.

1:18.8

Obviously, the ones on the live stream, I read out and you can hear them.

1:22.6

So you won't get some of the brilliant, brilliant audience participation that is the key to making

1:30.2

these live shows work. But hopefully from my responses, you will kind of get the essence of the

1:36.3

question. And it'll give you a feel anyway of this live show at the end of an epic year

1:42.4

with so much more to come in 2024. So I hope you enjoy it.

1:48.1

And here's to a happy new year to all and everyone in the Rock and Roll Politics Cooperative.

1:55.4

And we're going to get together very soon in 2024. In the meantime, here's rock and roll politics live at King's Place.

2:05.0

Take care.

2:05.9

See you all soon.

2:06.9

Bye.

2:11.0

Hello, welcome, welcome, welcome.
