So back in September, we started this journey through 1st Peter and we challenged one

other to memorize the first chapter of this book in the Bible together. It's an awesome chapter and some of you have memorized some of it.

Others of you have memorized all of it, but regardless I want us to start today by reading or to the extent possible reciting 1st Peter chapter 1 together

So I'm gonna put it up here on the screen and wherever you are in this room or watching I want to invite you to say it out loud with me and for those who have memorized it try to say it out loud with your eyes closed.

So 1st Peter chapter 1 verse 1. with your eyes closed.

So, 1st Peter, Chapter 1, verse 1.

Let's say it out loud together.

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who are elect exiles of the

dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Capidosia, Asia, and Bethania,

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, and the sanctification of the Spirit,

for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood. May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
