So, Some world religions are so foreign to us that they are difficult to understand.

And when people who've been raised in a Christian culture or a Christian-influenced culture encounter them,

they sometimes seem illogical and kind of out of sync.

Well, that's kind of the point for some world religions.

They don't necessarily have to make sense.

They don't even have to be internally consistent.

One of those is Hinduism, not an internally consistent religion. And if you ask to Hindu, they'd say it doesn't need to be.
