We're in a fight right now for the future of Western civilization and for the preservation of free speech.

And I view all of my commentary work and all of my interests in the American political system through that lens.

And I think most issues and most politics comes down to those two fundamental issues.

I think it's good for audiences to have their bubbles popped.

I think it's all too easy in American political culture right now

to get yourself in a silo or in a bubble where only the

information that you want to hear that confirms your priors is what you see. And I think it's detrimental

to the average citizen to be stuck in a silo or a bubble like that. You can meet and hear Scott Jennings

When elections don't go their way and the government is your boyfriend, or the government is your husband, and they're no longer in power, you feel alone and unprotected.

Sometimes in meetings in Washington especially frustrate some establishment Republicans because I mentioned that even if our politics are right and the policy solutions we have are right, that those are

insufficient to cure the problems facing America because we have a massive spiritual problem.

To be sure, Christianity prevents a coherent worldview

and certainly provides tremendous amount of comfort,

but alongside of that, it demonstrates that it's all true.
