Her natural ability to mentor and seek out tangible rock-solid action plans, and witnessing the devastating impact Covid 19 emergency has brought on the Finnish arts sector, has led Christa to continue her advocacy by choosing to be politically active. Striving to make the Finnish arts environment a positive place to grow both as an artist as well as be beneficial for all parties. Listen in as Christa shares really helpful tips for artists to move forward in their music careers. I do give Christa a little surprise when I play a track from way back and when we first got to know each other. Christa of course is also a fantastic musician/singer and sang on two occasions at the Eurovision contest.

0:22.0	Hello, Craig. I'm doing fine. I'm actually quite excellent. How are you?
0:27.0	I'm very good. So you're actually an Espoe Finland, right? Which is how far is that from Helsinki?
0:34.0	Not far away. It's like, well, we're talking kilometers. So it's like, well, Espoe is a very big city, but it's a part of the capital area.
0:47.0	So it's like the neighbor city to Helsinki. It's like 20 kilometers, but Espoe is really big.
0:54.0	Yeah, a lot of people live in Espoe and actually work in Helsinki, right? They kind of go back and forth.
0:58.0	Yes. Actually, I think Espoe is as an area to bigger than Helsinki, but many more people live in Helsinki in Espoe.
1:09.0	But we have a lot of green areas on forests and stuff.
1:12.0	Yeah, I've been there quite a few times, and we did some shows and concert stuff that I shot photography with.
1:21.0	And I've been to Helsinki a bunch, and that's how we first met, because we have mutual friends.
1:25.0	One of them is Tracy Lip, who's a songwriter, producer guy, and Maki Coleman, and all of our crazy friends there.
1:32.0	Yeah.
1:34.0	And you, so you're a very busy singer, a very well-known singer there, also an artist coach, teacher.
1:40.0	You've done a whole bunch of things, and that's how we kind of first met.
1:44.0	And tell us about life in Helsinki.
1:48.0	I know, obviously, you guys have been dealing with COVID and all that kind of stuff.
1:52.0	How has things been since that all started for artists and you in general?
1:57.0	In general, you can speak here, I guess, I should say.
2:00.0	Since when? Since what time?
2:02.0	Since COVID, like, when that all that happened, I got a lot of motivation.
2:05.0	Yes, COVID hit really, really hard, like in all other countries in the world.
