and, you know, the world was pretty much the past five months. Did anything happen while I was

praying and whatnot? Yes, the rider's strike is over. Riders are officially back to work this week

as their overall deals are getting reinstated, and the Guild has now sent tentative deal with the studios

for a new three-year minimum basic agreement to membership.

There will be a voting period.

It is expected to be ratified, but we're going to get into that in our first segment.

No mailbag this week, no headlines this week, because this is the news.

So yeah, you missed a little bit, Dan.

Well, let's break it down for the kids in several different ways.

Yeah, this week we're going to be joined for the third time during the strike

and fourth time overall by Chris Kaiser, the co-chair of the WGA's negotiating committee.

So we're going to let him explain the nitty-gritty details of the deal.
