There’s almost nobody better person equipped to talk about building multiple sources of income than my dear friend Chris Guillebeau.
During a lifetime of self-employment that included a four-year commitment as a volunteer executive in West Africa, Chris visited every country in the world (193 in total) before his 35th birthday. Since then he has modeled the proven definition of an entrepreneur: “Someone who will work 24 hours a day for themselves to avoid working one hour a day for someone else.”
He’s featured more than 850 different side hustle businesses on his daily podcast called Side Hustle School and is downloaded more than 2 million times a month. He's written several bestselling books, including The Art of Non-Conformity, The $100 Startup, Born For This, 100 Side Hustles and now his latest book: The Money Tree.
Today's conversation is all about finding fortune in our own backyards, including including topics dealing with student loans, a new model of earning extra income, and cultivating empowerment during uncertain economic times.
Enjoy!
