Chris Coleman had a girlfriend that he loved and a high-paying job that he didn't want to lose.

The only problem with that was that he also had a wife and two sons that didn't seem to fit into his future plans.

He needed to get rid of them so he could start over with someone new.

This is Monsters.

Chris Coleman was born on March 20th, 1977, the son of two pastors.

His parents, Ron and Connie Coleman were both pastors at a non-denominational Christian church in Chester, Illinois, about an hour and twenty minutes south of St. Louis, Missouri.

Chris had two brothers and Connie said that he was the quietest of the three.

The Coleman family took religion very seriously.

Chris and his brothers would often speak in tongues during church services and Chris based most of his decisions on scripture.

Once when his parents went out of town, Chris got drunk but he felt so guilty about it that he confessed to his high school basketball coach.
